It is located at the southeastern corner of the Kaaba and is a stone of great significance in Islam. According to Islamic tradition, it descended from Paradise. Muslims are encouraged to kiss it or touch it during Tawaf, following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
